Author Guidelines

Authors are required to adhere to the following guidelines before submitting their manuscripts to Clinics of Oncology.

Submission Policy

Manuscripts should be original and not have been published elsewhere. They should also be free from plagiarism. The submitting author is responsible for obtaining approval from all co-authors to publish the article, and it is important to ensure that the manuscript has received all necessary institutional approvals. Authors will receive further correspondence and proofs prior to publication, or they will be informed otherwise. It is understood that the authors grant permission for the manuscript to be edited for clarity and coherence. Any requests regarding the distribution of acknowledged compositions should be addressed. All submissions are subject to the copyright terms of service of "Clinics of Oncology."

Cover letter

Authors are encouraged to include a cover letter when submitting their manuscript. The cover letter should provide essential details such as the article type, manuscript title, author information, and confirmation of intent to publish in "Clinics of Oncology." Additionally, authors should include information about the number of tables, figures, and word count, along with any supporting documents and relevant information related to the manuscript.

Manuscript structure

Authors are required to adhere to the guidelines outlined below prior to submitting their manuscript.

Section Description
Title The manuscript title should not exceed 140 characters.
Authors List the full names of all the authors along with their affiliations.
Affiliations Author affiliations should be mentioned in the order: Department, University/Institute, City, State, Country; use superscript numbers to identify different affiliations.
Corresponding Author Provide the full name, affiliation, telephone number, fax number, and email address of the corresponding author for further correspondence.
Abstract Abstracts are limited to 150-250 words and should describe the aims, methods, results, and conclusion of the study for research/original articles. The author needs to summarize their findings. Do not include any citations in the abstract.
Keywords Authors can include a maximum of five keywords.
Text The text should include Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and Acknowledgment (if any). Use numbering for references in the body text
Results Results should provide complete details of the experiment that support the study's conclusion. Tables and figures can be included in the results section.
Discussion This section should be separate or can be combined with results (results and discussion) or mixed with the conclusion (discussion and conclusion). Results and discussions should not be the same or repeated. Detailed interpretation of data should not be included in the results; it should be included in the discussion section.
Acknowledgement Authors can include funding sources and personal acknowledgments in this section. Authors are encouraged to list all the funding sources used for the preparation of the manuscript and provide the grant number and authors associated with specific funding sources.
Figures Preferred formats for figures are JPEG, TIFF, PNG, GIF, and PowerPoint. This section includes figures, their title, and description. Figure legends should not be repeated in the text. If a figure has been published elsewhere, permission from the copyright holder is required to reproduce the material at the time of submitting the agreement form. Figures should be numbered in order as cited in the text.
Tables Tables should not be embedded in the text but can be cited in the text. Each table should contain a title and description. There is no limit to the number of tables submitted. Tables should provide new information, not the same as given in the text. Do not use spaces while creating tables. Tables should be provided in a Word document format so that the text in the table can be copy-edited as per journal format.
Supplementary Files There is no limit to the number of supplementary material items that authors can include in the manuscript. Supplementary materials should be named with "S" followed by a number (e.g., Figure S1, Table S1, Video S1, etc.). Make sure to cite these supplementary items in the text.
References Published and accepted articles should be included in the reference list. References should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are first cited in the text. Authors can also cite references in the tables and figures, apart from the text. In-text references should include the author's surname and year if publications are cited in the text.

Publication Policy

The review board of the "Clinics of Oncology" is responsible for deciding which of the articles will be published in the journal. The publishing decision is based on the recommendation of the journal's reviewers. The Editor-in-Chief/Editor may confer with other editors or reviewers in making this decision.

Revisions

Revoked manuscripts can be re-submitted through the online submission or can be sent by through e-mail and must be submitted by a cover-letter with revision of manuscript.

Production Process

Clinics of Oncology is a Universally Accessible Journal Publisher. We provide research publications over the globe. These journals are scholarly journals they are available online to the readers without any limitations and charges to download, read, etc. Our dedicated and committed editorial members ensure the quality of research articles to be very high. We also have reputed editorial board members all over from different fields for the quick publication of articles and to ensure the review standards to the international standards. Clinics of Oncology is a self-reliant publisher that is solely financed by our own management without receiving funds from any institution/government. The authors are required to pay a fair open access publication fee for processing their articles but there are no submission charges. The open-access publication fee will be charged to the authors to meet our operating expenses such as Article Processing, website maintenance, employee needs, and development of the company. We charge the authors open access fee only after the articles are accepted for publication.

Proofs

If there are any corrections in the proof that should be corrected by the authors within 2-3 days and it is required to be proofread by the author at two stages; copyediting and layout. An e-mail message with instructions and a link will be sent to the corresponding author. It is the author’s responsibility to complete the proofreading in a timely manner.

Copyright

Article must not be published anywhere, this is an open access article distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and build upon your work non-commercially.

Manuscript Withdrawal Policy

If the author requests for withdrawal of the manuscript after the submission and before starting the pre-review process, then the authors will not have to pay any withdrawal penalty.

If the author requests for withdrawal after manuscript is submitted or assigned for Pre-Review Process or during the assembly Stage or Published within the Platform then author(S) have to Pay a withdrawal Penalty without fail.

Refund Policy

Once the manuscript has completed the review process, been published, and all payments have been made, Clinics of Oncology Publishers does not provide refunds if an author requests a withdrawal. It is important for authors to carefully consider their decision to submit a manuscript and proceed with the publication process, as refunds cannot be issued after these stages have been completed.
